Proposal Strategist
The Louis Berger Group, Inc. (Kansas City)

This position will be responsible for the management of the completion of Proposals, Responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and other bids to be submitted to customers and prospects. The Proposal Strategist will be responsible for the development, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement of the processes used to complete winning proposals, primarily for the planning, facilities and environmental pursuits in US operations. This position will be based out of the Kansas City office.

Qualifications:

• Experience in responding to bids & proposals, preferably in the
  A/E consulting sector
• In addition to possessing superior design skills, advanced level knowledge of Adobe Creative products is required
• Excellent facilitation skills, able to build and motivate proposal teams,
  generate creativity
• Ability to manage teams across multiple locations and time zones.  
• Able to quickly establish credibility and rapport with sales & business staff and to form teams across organizational boundaries.  
• Able to operate and communicate effectively up to senior executive level
  when required.  
• Use analytical skills to evaluate requirements, work across teams to identify solutions to meet customer needs. 
• Business-savvy' (AE industry market understanding ideal). 
• Excellent communication skills

Experience/Description: Highly organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker. Independent self-starter. People and negotiation skills needed. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for successful performance in this position.
